I think you should've cut the rest of the h-scenes and put the Satsuki scenario back in. 
...and this was more important than the Satsuki scenario. 
That would explain why so many of them suck.

The chair the magus sits on sways.
Below that chair, it was her daily routine to look at the sunset together with him.
Of course, it wasn't as if she liked the sunset.
She doesn't know the concept of happiness or sadness to begin with.
